Please complete and submit this assessment to apply to meet with an SBDC Business Advisor.

How can we help you?
In your first meeting with a business advisor, we explore options available to meet your business needs. The SBDC’s professional focus is hands-on counseling, so that you will be guided and trained in the areas of assistance required, rather than doing the work for the client. Together, you and the business advisor discuss a plan of action. Further discussions and/or a visit to your place of business by the business advisor will help define your objectives and develop a strategy to achieve them.

The SBDC offers NO CHARGE confidential counseling on business start-ups, loans and financing, financial statement analysis, marketing, accounting and record keeping, sales, advertising, business planning and management. Opportunities for business growth, government contracting, exporting, marketing expansion, and new emerging technologies can be explored. Counseling services are available for other start-up and existing businesses in retail, wholesale, manufacturing and service.

If you are not in business, we require you to attend either our “Orientation” at no charge, or our “Business Startup Workshop” ($30 payable on Eventbrite) before scheduling one-on-one counseling.

You may come in for a second appointment after you have emailed 10 pages of your business plan to us. Please print out the following outline:
