This workshop will cover basic information in buying and selling small businesses. Participants will learn basic business valuation approaches, the role of business brokers and important questions to ask before making an acquisition. We invite you to bring your lunch.

 

Presenter: Amanda Flynn, Business Advisor; Dallas Metropolitan SBDC
Amanda K. Flynn is a Dallas Metropolitan SBDC Business Advisor. Her background is in financial analysis, business valuation, and the trucking/transportation industry. She has significant experience in financial modeling and forecasting, process improvement, and overall analysis of small business operations. Amanda has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, Financial Analysis from Louisiana State University. She is currently studying to receive her Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) designation from The International Society of Business Appraisers (ISBA).

This session will provide participants with information on the in-depth management and technical assistance provided by the North Texas SBDC Network throughout the 49 counties in northeast Texas. Our only mission is to accelerate the economy by helping entrepreneurs grow sustainable businesses.
